warranty on parts, fifteen years on the frame and one
year on the electronic parts. We strongly recommend
that you purchase an extended warranty on any piece
of fitness equipment.
Schwinn ellipticals are designed and constructed
somewhat different than most elliptical trainers that
are on the market. The flywheel is located at the front
of the machine instead of the rear. Many people will
assert that a rear flywheel makes for a more
comfortable stride or ride. The pedals have some
movement so that the heel of your foot is supported,
which makes for a smooth stride that most people
can use. However the Schwinn front flywheel design
is very smooth and comfortable. Schwinn elliptical
trainers use a motorized braking system that is
reported to by fairly quiet.
One comment we heard from owner and operators is
that the Schwinn ellipticals are easy to assemble and
appear to be well built. The number one complaint
concerned flimsey plastic parts. Two people
complained about the noise of the machine after a
couple of months of use.
Overall we recommend the Schwinn elliptical trainer.
It appears to be a great product and well worth the
