Horizon Elliptical Trainers are manufactured by
Johnson Heath Tech that has been in the fitness
equipment business for more than 25 years. Johnson
Health Tech also owns and manufactures the Vision
elliptical trainer.

Horizon has two series elliptical trainers. The Horizon
series is found in most fitness retailers such as Sears
and the Elite series that is found only in specialty
fitness stores.

On the Horizon elliptical trainer the one thing that you
will immediately notice is that the flywheel is located at
the front of the machine. Some users have noted that
this makes the stride choppy. The difference is in the
electronics and programs. They do have self leveling
peddles that make stride more comfortable. People with
relative short arms cannot use the handle bars in
comfort. Horizon elliptical trainers are comparable to
low end elliptical trainers.

Additional problems include weak components
including the braking system that requires frequent
maintenance and/or replacement. There is a one year
warranty so one should strongly consider purchasing
an extended warranty to cover their Horizon Elliptical
Trainer.

Horizon elliptical trainers are popular and are
considered a good buy for the price if the extended
warranty is also purchased. It goes without saying that
you need to spend time on Horizon elliptical trainer that
you are considering to purchase. Only then will you
determine if the elliptical trainer fits your and is
comfortable to use.
